WVU Tech’s Miller grabs RSC WSOC Defensive Player of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio – WVU Tech goalkeeper Jenna Miller pitched a pair of shutouts to earn River States Conference Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for Aug. 23-29.

Miller, a senior from Lake Jackson, Texas, compiled a combined 11 saves in the two victories. Miller posted three saves in a 2-0 win over Carolina University and came up with eight saves to protect a 1-0 win over Regent University.

WVU Tech is now 2-1 on the year after the perfect week.
