MIDDLETOWN, Ohio – WVU Tech guard Brittney Justice hit a big milestone of 2,000 career points and secured River States Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week Jan. 10-16.

The senior from Danese, W.Va., averaged 21.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists in three games last week. The Golden Bears went 2-1 on the week including 2-0 RSC to improve to 6-3 conference.

Justice shot 45 percent from the field (27 for 60) and made seven 3-pointers. Justice had a pair of 25-point games with 25 points, seven rebounds and five assists in a win over Oakland City (Ind.) and then 25 points, seven rebounds and three assists in a victory over Brescia (Ky.).

Justice started out with 15 points at Washington Adventist despite a loss. WVU Tech (8-12) will be at Alice Lloyd (Ky.) on Jan. 20.
